General HVAC

AC repair fixes a broken system when cooling stops working, strange noises start, and so on. Maintenance is preventive: we inspect, clean, and optimize your system to prevent future failures and improve efficiency. Annual maintenance saves you money by preventing expensive emergency repairs.

Annual tune-up is recommended, ideally before summer (AC) or winter (heating). Some systems benefit from semi-annual service. We can recommend the right schedule for your specific system.

A comprehensive tune-up includes: filter inspection/replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant level check, electrical component inspection, airflow testing, and system performance verification. We explain what we find and recommend any needed repairs.

High bills often indicate AC or heating system inefficiency. Common causes include dirty filters, refrigerant leaks, ductwork leaks, thermostat issues, or an aging system. We diagnose the cause and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Some simple tasks (filter replacement, thermostat settings, clearing debris from the outdoor unit) you can handle yourself. Most repairs require certification. Refrigerant work, electrical repairs, and compressor work must be done by licensed technicians for safety and warranty compliance.

Summer: 78°F is comfortable and energy-efficient. Winter: 70°F is a reasonable starting point. Each degree of adjustment saves approximately 3% on energy costs. A programmable thermostat saves money by adjusting automatically when you're away.

AC Repair & Installation

Common causes include refrigerant leaks, dirty or clogged filters, frozen evaporator coils, compressor failure, or thermostat malfunction. We diagnose quickly and explain what's happening. Most issues can be repaired affordably. Replacement is recommended only if repair cost exceeds 50% of replacement cost.

Repair costs range from $150 for simple fixes like capacitor replacement to $800+ for compressor repairs. We provide written quotes before starting any work. Our $65 diagnostic fee is credited toward repair if you move forward.

Replace when repair cost exceeds 50% of replacement cost, the system is over 15 years old, or you're seeing multiple major failures. We help you evaluate cost vs. benefit with honest numbers, with no pressure either way.

Typical installation takes 4–8 hours on-site. Most jobs complete in one day. We schedule at your convenience and minimize disruption to your home.

New AC costs range from $3,500–$8,000 depending on system size, brand, and efficiency rating. We provide free in-home evaluations and multiple options at different price points. New customers receive 15% off full system installations.

Heating & Furnaces

Signs include strange noises, cold spots in your home, higher energy bills, pilot light that won't stay lit, or the furnace cycling on and off frequently. Don't wait for complete failure. Early repair prevents emergency breakdowns during cold snaps.

Repair if the system is under 10 years old and repair cost is under 50% of replacement. Replace if the system is over 15 years old, you're seeing frequent repairs, or replacement cost is only slightly more than repair. We help you decide based on facts, not sales.

New furnace installation costs $2,500–$5,500 depending on system size and efficiency. We provide full quotes with financing options available for qualified customers.

We service all major HVAC brands including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, and more. Our technicians are trained and certified to work on virtually any residential or commercial system.

Indoor Air Quality

Sources include dust, pollen, pet dander, mold, bacteria, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and poor ventilation. Houston's heat and humidity amplify these issues. High moisture promotes mold and dust mites.

Many Houston families benefit from improved air quality, especially those with allergies, asthma, or pets. Higher humidity can promote mold. We assess your home and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Standard filters trap large particles. Upgraded MERV-rated filters capture smaller particles like pollen and dander. Air purifiers remove particles and some gases. UV germicidal systems kill bacteria and mold in your ductwork. Often a combination of solutions works best.
